First Cousin Camp Out for Evan

After Anthony's birthday weiner roast, the cousins had big plans. Zachary had set up a tent down on "the point". (down a winding lane behind their house near the pond) The night started out festive with 4 campers. By 2a.m. it was down to these two. That's when the storm moved in and the campout moved indoors. Boy they sure had a grand time!

Drama--It's All Good

We had a great opportunity to host some amazing young ladies. Our youth pastor's home church in Alabama have a very gifted drama team ministry. They came up Saturday for our church's Youth Rally. WOW! 20 young adults and 5 adults. We were so blessed by their message in drama, skits, and music. Ali and Heather stayed the night with us. Ali, bless her heart, was the very first person to try out our shower downstairs. Thank goodness it worked fine! They are welcome back anytime and hopefully for a longer stay next time ;)

Evan really enjoyed his corn, poor Katy with her braces couldn't eat one. It was slighty warm, breezy, sunny.....a great day to be outdoors and see the sights, sounds, and smells (oxen team) of the day.

2008 Vincennes Rendezvous Picture Contest

These are the 5 shots I submitted in the Rendezvous 2008 Digital Photo Contest. We were there from 9:30a.m. to 2:30p.m. Me, Katy, and Evan. We were kind of like the dad in Beethoven who ate his way through the county fair! Turkey legs, strawberry shortcake, stuffed mushrooms, rock candy suckers, corn on the cob...We shared them, didn't all eat all that. When we got home we have sun-burned necks and a monster case of diarrhea (me)!!!!

Super Fans!!

It is the end of May and we sat in the cool, breezy, rain at Evan's baseball game! Yes, we needed hats, sweatshirts, coats, and gloves!!!! We are super Bulldog fans!

Cooper likes to sleep

Cooper is becoming rottenly spoiled. When he sleeps, he sleeps hard! He's so cuddley he even made Evan fall asleep last night!

New Area Rest Stop

"NEW LOCAL REST STOP!"

Our home town has apparently added a rest stop along the highway in front of the roller-skating rink, right across from the McDonalds. So if you want to enjoy a nice outdoor lunch, get your cheeseburger and fries to go and head across the highway to this comfy rest area!

Bicknell Bulldogs Win!

The Bicknell Bulldogs had their opening game last night. They played Oaktown and won 11 -2! Evan was up to bat several times. Unfortunately he never got a good crack at the bat, he was walked. :( He did pitch during the 3rd and 4th innings and did a great job. In the next to the last pic you can see Mom and Katy in the background (their silver van too).

Cooper Gadberry has arrived

Here he is, Cooper Gadberry.

We have a new puppy at our house!

Our friends dog had this 1 puppy, he is approx 6weeks old. We picked him up and drove him straight to the vet for his first shots. He has already been on his first visit to Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Zane's house. :) He is already on the road to being spoiled. He spent his first night here in Evan's room (Cooper is supposed to be an outside dog!) When we put him in our sunroom in a makeshift cleaned out Little Tike toy box he cried and cried. So Evan took him upstairs where he curled up at the end of Evan's bed and fell asleep! What are we in for? ;)
