Family Fun

We sure are having a great time with our family that traveled from Buffalo, NY. The cousins had not seen each other for 6mo's! Among our family actitives was a trip to the favorite local pizzaria and driving around to look at Christmas lights. Guess who was in the park shelter house? SANTA! How fun!!

"A King is Coming To Town"

Evan took part in the church musical this past Sunday. He was "Mayor Big Wheel". He did a super job! He had a solo in one of the songs and had to change into an Elvis costume :) Top pic is him during the opening song. Middle is the mayor of Rumors Mill being interviewed by Greta Popcorn the reporter, and bottom pic is the drama team members posing on the set.

First Entry

I always say that I want to try or do something different every year. So this year I was cutting it close, not really, but sort of. I did get a different job late this summer. I get to work from home, yeah! I've never done that before and gotten paid for it ;)
The other 2 things were going to Atlanta to the Regional Center for Samaritans Purse/Operation Christmas Child and toying around with this blog spot. Maybe this will just be a place mainly for me to journal at? Hopefully it will be a convenient way for far-from-here friends and family to stay in touch. So goes the first of my blogs. Samaritan's Purse Mini-Mission Trip '07

Zachary, Katy, me, and Jenny at the warehouse in Duluth Georgia. All the shoeboxes we helped with here that day went to India! It was our first time to go to a regional local to help. We are ready to plan a Jr/Sr High trip for next year. We worked beside a Girl Scout troop from Florida and a church group from Knoxville,Ten.
